I’ve spent two decades leading and building teams, technologies, products and strategies in e-commerce, martech and adtech. I’ve had the pleasure to work in environments ranging from two-person start-ups to the largest brands in the world. Binding it together is my crusade for relevance –  pushing technology forward so digital experiences can best meet the goals of people.

Presently, I an advising a global telecom and media company on data strategy related to advertising and marketing. In 2010 I founded Yieldbot and was CEO for seven years. We built machine learning and automated decision technology focused on understanding the real-time intent of consumers in media. Our data covered 94% of consumers and we were the 4th largest ad network behind Google, Facebook and Yahoo (comScore 12/16).  That same year Yieldbot was measured by Deloitte Fast500 as the 2nd fastest growing technology company in North America and the fastest growing New York tech start-up in the history of the award.

Prior, I was Chief Strategy Officer of Offermatica and founded its client services business. Our success pioneered marketing SaaS with A/B & multivariate testing, behavioral targeting, personalization & performance optimization for digital marketing. In 2007 we were acquired by Omniture and thereafter Adobe. The product lives today as Adobe Target.

My work on the Internet started in 1998 with e-commerce. I founded early DTC retailer VitaminLab.com. “Direct from Lab” was the motto. In 2004 we won The Nutrition Business Journal “Award for 5 Year Growth.”

I have keynoted & participated in over 50 digital marketing & advertising events since 2005. I tell it like I see it so I’m often quoted on digital marketing in publications that include The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, USA Today, Advertising Age, Adweek and Digiday.
